Business Description
Due to limited space in urban areas, urban gardening encourages
individuals to grow on roof-tops, balconies & terraces through use
of innovative techniques such as vertical & kitchen gardening, hydroponics etc.
IFFCO Kisan has been actively working for the rural farmers through
its “value added advisory services”, empowering them to be more
proactive & aware about latest practices & technologies in Agriculture.
With the practice of growing horticulture crops in gardens &
terraces in urban areas, IFFCO Kisan intends to serve the urban
population through its rich expertise in agricultural advisory repository
& experience to benefit the practitioners.
Our Objective is to leverage IFFCO Kisan’s in-house expertise to promote
urban horticulture and to empower urban enthusiasts with high quality
information on urban horticulture. We are also trying to promote green &
pollution free cities and proper utilization of vacant & unused peri-urban
areas to grow quality & nutritious food.
